How-to-win the Joust

Scoring:

a) Three (3) points – a homerun - occurs when a Charioteer

scores a paintball Hit on any area of an opponent’s VISOR.

b) Two (2) points are awarded when a Charioteer

scores a paintball Hit on the top-of-the-head of an opponent,

the forehead, or face (other than the Visor).

c) One (1) point is awarded when a Charioteer

scores a paintball Hit on either side of the chest.

Winning-the-Joust:

In team-play – first to score ten (10) points is the official-winner

of the joust. They are entitled to their Joust-Rewards.

The Joust is an event played one-on-one, or as with as many as

3-5 team-mates on each side.

The Charioteers are separated by a type of ‘rail’.

Team ‘A’ drives sinistrodextral (left-to-right), while their opponents

commence the tournament traveling dextrosinistral (right-to-left).

Welcome to Charioteer™Paintball League – an Xtreme sport for

professional and amateur-athletes. CPL combines the speed of

your personal-transporter, with the high-tech of your paintball

arsenal. It’s competitive-lightning-fast-and full of prizes for the

winning gladiators.

What are the elements of Charioteer Paintball League?

1. Vehicles: Charioteers drive personal-transporters with a maximum

speed of up to 20 miles-per-hour.

2. Competition: one-on-one, team-to-team, or an individual for

his/her personal-best.

3. Armament: Charioteers may use the latest technology shooters

available in paintball.

4. Leagues: team play for prizes is age-based from junior to senior.

5. Prizes: winners of tournaments are awarded prizes set by CPL.

Individual Divisions:

a) Senior-men teams: ages 29 to 49; 50-and-over.

b) Women’s teams: 12-17, 18-29, 30-and-over.

c) School teams:

Elementary: 6^th to 8^th grade;

High School teams: 9^th to 12^th grade.

College teams: 18 to 21

Graduate-School teams: 22-and older

Required Equipment and Rules-of-the-Tournament

1. All Charioteers must wear helmets with reinforced visors.

2. Padding on arms, knees, and legs is mandatory.

3. All armament must be inspected and approved by the referee.

4. To score points for tournament prizes – Charioteers must in

motion while making their paintball-shot. Stepping off their

chariot to fire is a balk, and subject to a penalty or game-forfeiture.

5. Intentional crashing into a rival’s chariot is cause for ejection

from the game.

6. The referee’s foul-ruling and point-score award is final.

7. Game-results may be appealed to the League Czar.

8. Annual Statistics and records are the property of CPL.

9. An annual World Series is played by division winners.
